About Celebration Golf Club (Celebration, FL)
Opened in 1996, Celebration is an upscale daily-fee resort course designed by the father & son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. The course exudes an atmosphere of beautiful tranquility and fun, challenging golf. The layout is protectively framed by borders of native trees and natural wetlands and speckled with clusters of native oaks, pine and magnolia trees. Featuring strategic hazards and challenging greens, this championship caliber course demands accurate approach shots and consistent putting. Sporting five sets of tees, the course now stretches from 4,933 to a new total yardage of 7028 and invites competition from all skill levels. It boasts 18 distinctively fascinating holes with a great deal of variety and wildlife throughout. All new Champion Dwarf Bermuda greens added the summer of 2011 - has reopened to great reviews!

I personally thought of the 5 courses the whole package at Celbration was hard to beat when compared to the other venues. Staff were a delight to deal with from Starters, photographers, bar and dining staff and Pro Shop. The Breakfast we had at the club was the best we had during the week and a nice touch was the leather bond photograph at 20 dollars as a momento of the trip with photo.

We have played this a few times in Orlando and will play again. The course consistently is a great value. Even though there are gorgeous homes around the course they are far enough away so you don't feel confined. To me, this is an important factor. Many different holes so its never a boring round. Excellent!!

Celebration is always a great choice. Our coupon had a t-time of 8 but they had us down for 7:52. The reanger was a pain for the first 3 holes but we ended up finishing the round early with the next group 3+ holes back.

Love the course. The greens had been top dressed but the rest of the course was in great shape. The course was running 20 minutes late when we got there and play was slow all day. We are used to playing 4 hour rounds or less so a slow 4:30 plus round is interminable to us.

Celebration is so close to the resorts it can demand top dollar. It is a good course, not great. Some greens are "tricked up" to make up for lack of hole length. Great course to see once.
