About Celebration Golf Club (Celebration, FL)
Opened in 1996, Celebration is an upscale daily-fee resort course designed by the father & son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. The course exudes an atmosphere of beautiful tranquility and fun, challenging golf. The layout is protectively framed by borders of native trees and natural wetlands and speckled with clusters of native oaks, pine and magnolia trees. Featuring strategic hazards and challenging greens, this championship caliber course demands accurate approach shots and consistent putting. Sporting five sets of tees, the course now stretches from 4,933 to a new total yardage of 7028 and invites competition from all skill levels. It boasts 18 distinctively fascinating holes with a great deal of variety and wildlife throughout. All new Champion Dwarf Bermuda greens added the summer of 2011 - has reopened to great reviews!

The course was in good condition despite the brutal winter. A great design and very nice layout, very playable with difficult green complexes that were well bunkered. The design dictated how you should play each hole, not just "get up a bang a driver" Plus the par 3's were very tough.
