About Stoneybrook West Golf Club (Winter Garden, FL)
Some of Central Florida's finest greens can be played at Stoneybrook West; the TifEagle greens are legendary for their speed and true rolling surfaces. Designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Hills, Stoneybrook West is now under the ownership by the Celebration Golf Group, and one of the top public championship courses in the west Orlando area. Hills did a masterful job blending the natural landscape of West Orange County; meticulous course grooming, dramatically rolling fairways framed by towering berms and water touching on 14 holes with Black Lake lurking in the background. Upon completion of your golf round, a well-stocked bar and grille compliments boastful panoramic vistas of the course. They didn't receive "#27 Best Golf Course in the Country" by GolfLink.com for nothing! Located just off SR545 in Winter Garden with easy access from the Florida Turnpike and the SR429 extension.
FREE REPLAYS per availability, year-round (after 1st round is completed).

Excellent Greens. The course isn't as plush as some of the more expensive courses, but the layout was good and the staff was extremely friendly and treated us very well.

Nice course, good variety throughout, more than average amount of water that you don't realize until the back nine,. but a lot of fun.

Not a bad course, but not great. It is always in good shape, but I am not a fan of the greens. They look fast, but are generally slow. Not a bad course for the money.

Wow! What an improvement. Played there 3 years ago, and was not impressed. Now, though, we really enjoyed it. Course has shaped up. GPS is nice. Keep up the improvements.

Tim (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) says:
The course was ok! The fairways were not nearly as good as our other courses. Greens were good. Personally, I prefer the natural setting courses in nature rather than those lined with houses, but it was a nice course. We just prefer the courses with natural settings!

Robert (Spring Hill, TN) says:
no complaints

Arnold (Huntsville, AL) says:
Houses border the fairways too close.

Kelly (New Haven, IN) says:
All of the stoneybrook courses seem to have a premium on good greens and a good pace of play. This was the first time we played here and will put it in the rotation for the next time. Forgiving fairways with trouble around the greens. I would recommend this course to any handicap. Pick your tees and it can be as tough or easy as you want it. We played 36 and did it from 2 different sets of tees. The course changed a lot from the different tees.
