About Venetian Bay Golf Club (New Smyrna Beach, FL)
Located 45-50 minutes northeast of Orlando and just 20 minutes south of Daytona in New Smyrna Beach, this private Clifton, Ezell & Clifton designed course opened in 2008 and features two distinctly different natural nines. While the front nine plays through natural woodlands, the back features parallel fairways and a links style feel. At over 7000 yards from the tips with over 100 bunkers (114 at last count!) and water on 16 holes, Venetian Bay can sound intimidating, but it's not. Rolling fairways feature landing areas that are more expansive than they may look from the tee. After 18 memorable holes, the phenomenal Mediterranean-style clubhouse beckons you to the 19th Hole. Come on - be their "member for the day!" Located just 10 minutes from the beach and a straightaway highway drive from the north area of Orlando.
Proper dress code and golf etiquette are enforced due to private membership (closed Mondays).

GREAT EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH. MET IN THE PARKING LOT AND LOADED BY A FRIENDLY STAFF MEMBER. HE GATHERED OUR GROUP AND GAVE US COURSE TIPS. EXCELLENT PRACTICE RANGE WITH FREE BALLS FRESHLY PYRAMIDED. FOR A 2 YEAR OLD COURSE AND A COLD WINTER CONDITIONS WERE VERY GOOD. OVER 120 NICE TRAPS WITH WHITE SAND!! GREENS WERE GREAT TOO. EXCEPTIONAL CLUBHOUSE STAFF WITH A GREAT LUNCH. NO PROBLEM WITH A REPLAY AT 22 DOLLARS. A GREAT DAY FOR OUR GROUP!!
