About Waldorf Astoria Golf Club (Orlando, FL)
This new exciting masterpiece is located just a 3-wood's distance from Downtown Disney® in Lake Buena Vista, minutes from I-4. Opened since October 1 of 2009, this Rees Jones-designed resort course boasts over 7000 yards of perfectly manicured emerald green fairways, all bordered by natural wetland preserves and woodlands of pine and cypress. Water can come into play on just about half the course holes (primarily the back nine), and the bunkers were carved to reflect the hazards designed from years ago. Natural wildlife is quite abundant where nature seems quite undisturbed. Located at the prestigious Bonnet Creek Resort, this magnificent layout is located adjacent to both the new luxurious Waldorf Astoria Hotel (the golf course is a first for this hotel brand) and Hilton Hotel, all surrounded by Walt Disney World Resort on three sides. Quite the high-end, memorable experience!

My only real concern about this great development is that the course's design doesn'4t match the real "first class" service, conditions and atmosphere we experienced with staff and facilities. I mean, we found the holes too seemingly w/each other, there is no "drama" or challenge in views and no variety. Yet, I must say that the course conditions were just as the best I played in my life.

Great course and wonderful facilities. The staff was unbelievable. Customer Service was "AAAAAA". While having lunch after the round, we had a question about the slope & rating of the course. The Pro came over to our table and thouroughly answered our question. Iced Towels at the beginning or the round and at the turn kept us cool on a hot/humid day. The towels were stacked on a silver tray and served with silver tongs!

We were running late for a tee time and the staff was perfect. They moved us back to a tee time slightly later and suggested that we relax on the veranda with drinks and free food. Great place!!
